Why Play Roostino on Mobile
PWA on Android & iOS
Roostino runs via progressive web app technology in any modern mobile browser. Add it to your home screen in seconds for an app-like experience without using storage or app store accounts.
Instant Load, No Updates
Because the PWA pulls the latest version from Roostino's servers each time you open it, you never need to download an update file. Games load quickly on stable mobile data or Wi-Fi.
SSL Encryption on Every Session
Every mobile session is protected by the same AES-256 SSL encryption as the desktop site. Two-factor authentication and biometric login (where your browser supports it) add further layers.
Everything About the App at Roostino
What’s Inside the Roostino Mobile Experience
The Roostino mobile platform delivers the full desktop experience through a progressive web app rather than a traditional downloaded application. This means you access all 22,000+ games, the AUD cashier with PayID and POLi, every active promotion including the 150% welcome bonus, and the live chat support channel, directly from your smartphone’s browser. The PWA shortcut saved to your home screen opens the casino in a dedicated full-screen window with no browser toolbar, making it indistinguishable from a native app in day-to-day use.
Key Features
The mobile site is built on HTML5, ensuring compatibility across iOS and Android without requiring platform-specific code. Touch-optimised controls replace hover menus, game tile sizes adapt to screen dimensions, and the cashier flow is streamlined for thumb navigation. All games offered on desktop are available on mobile, including Evolution Gaming live dealer streams, Pragmatic Play Megaways pokies, and Hacksaw Gaming bonus-buy titles.
Differences from the Browser Version
The only practical difference between the desktop browser and the mobile PWA is the absence of hover-state menus. Every feature, every game, and every payment method available on the full site is present in the mobile experience. The PWA shortcut also supports push notifications for promotions and deposit confirmations, a capability the desktop browser does not replicate in the same way.
Compatibility
Roostino’s mobile platform runs in any modern smartphone browser and does not require downloading files from a third-party source.
Android Version
Chrome 90 or later is the recommended browser for Android users. The site functions on Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above. Devices running Android 7 may load the site but are not fully supported, and live Evolution Gaming dealer streams may not perform reliably below Android 8.
iOS Version
Safari 14 or later is required for PWA installation on iPhone and iPad. The casino runs on iOS 14 and above. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not support the ‘Add to Home Screen’ PWA installation function due to Apple’s browser restrictions, so Safari must be used for the home-screen shortcut. Once installed, the shortcut opens the casino independently of Safari.
Minimum Requirements
The table below summarises minimum and recommended specifications:
| Platform | OS | Browser | Connection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Android | 8.0 (Oreo)+ | Chrome 90+ | 4G or Wi-Fi |
| iOS | iOS 14+ | Safari 14+ | 4G or Wi-Fi |
A stable 4G or Wi-Fi connection is recommended for Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live dealer tables, which stream HD video in real time.
How to Download and Install
The Roostino PWA installs from the site itself, with no app store account, no APK file, and no storage allocation beyond a small icon.
Android (Step by Step)
Open Google Chrome and navigate to roostinocasino-au.com. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right and select ‘Add to Home Screen’ or ‘Install App’ if a banner appears automatically. Name the shortcut and confirm. The icon appears in your Android app drawer and on your home screen. Tapping it launches Roostino in a full-screen borderless window.
iOS (Step by Step)
Open Safari and go to roostinocasino-au.com. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward-pointing arrow) in Safari’s bottom navigation bar. Scroll down the share sheet and tap ‘Add to Home Screen.’ Confirm the name and tap ‘Add.’ The Roostino icon appears on your iOS home screen. Tap it to launch the casino in full-screen mode without the Safari interface.
PWA Shortcut
Both the Android and iOS methods above produce an equivalent PWA shortcut. There is no dedicated app on Google Play or the Apple App Store. The PWA approach means the casino is always up to date: new games, updated promotions, and interface improvements load automatically each time you open the shortcut, without any manual update step.
Security
Every Roostino mobile session operates over the same AES-256 SSL encryption that protects desktop connections. No data transmitted between your device and Roostino’s servers is exposed to interception on a secured connection.
Encryption
The SSL certificate covers all pages of the site including the cashier, login, and account settings. A padlock icon in your mobile browser’s address bar confirms the connection is secure before you enter any credentials.
2FA
Two-factor authentication is available to all account holders and is enabled in the security section of account settings. When active, a verification code is sent to your registered email each time you sign in from an unrecognised device, making unauthorised access significantly harder even if your password is compromised.
Biometrics
Where your mobile browser or device supports it, biometric authentication (Face ID on iPhone, fingerprint unlock on Android) can be used to autofill your Roostino password via your device’s password manager, speeding up the login process without reducing security.
Deposits and Withdrawals
The complete AUD cashier is available in the Roostino mobile browser and PWA. No functionality is limited to desktop for banking purposes.
Payment Methods
PayID, POLi, Neosurf, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, and cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, and Ripple are all accessible from the mobile cashier. PayID is the fastest deposit option for Australian players, crediting your account in near-real time via the New Payments Platform.
Processing Times
| Method | Deposit Speed | Withdrawal Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayID | Near-instant | Up to 24 hours |
| POLi | Instant | Up to 24 hours |
| Neosurf | Instant | N/A (deposit only) |
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | 1-3 business days |
| Bank Transfer | Same day | 1-3 business days |
| Bitcoin / USDT | Minutes | Up to 1 hour |
Payment Security
All mobile transactions pass through the same SSL-encrypted gateway as desktop deposits. The cashier does not store full card numbers on device. Crypto withdrawals to a new wallet address trigger a manual security review before funds are released, consistent with standard anti-fraud practice.
Games in the App
The full Roostino catalogue is available in the mobile browser with no titles restricted to desktop only.
Pokies
Over 11,500 video pokies run in the mobile browser, including Megaways titles from Big Time Gaming, bonus-buy pokies from Hacksaw Gaming, and the full Pragmatic Play library including Sweet Bonanza. High-volatility titles dominate the catalogue, with multiple progressive jackpot pokies displaying real-time prize pools. All pokies run in HTML5 and require no plugin installation.
Live Casino
More than 750 live dealer tables from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live are accessible on mobile. Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, live blackjack, and live baccarat all stream in HD. A stable 4G or Wi-Fi connection is recommended for uninterrupted play. Table minimum bets start from as low as $0.15 on some Pragmatic Play Live tables.
Table Games
Over 145 RNG table game variants, including multiple roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and video poker formats, are available in the mobile game library. Touch-optimised chip-placing controls make RNG table games comfortable to play on smaller screens.
Jackpots
Progressive jackpot pokies are labelled in the mobile lobby with their current accumulated prize values. The jackpot section is filterable, making it easy to browse the available pools and select a game that suits your session budget.
Registration and Login
Your Roostino account is universal: the credentials you create on desktop work identically in the mobile browser and PWA.

The FAQ section covers the most common queries about account verification, payment methods including PayID and POLi, and bonus activation, and is searchable from mobile.
Responsible Gambling
Deposit limits, session time reminders, loss limits, and self-exclusion are all manageable from the account settings in the mobile browser. Players who need external support can access Gambling Help Online at 1800 858 858, a free national service available around the clock.
App and Mobile Questions
Is the Roostino Casino app available on Google Play or the App Store?
No. Roostino is not listed on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Mobile play is via a PWA that you save directly from roostinocasino-au.com to your home screen in a few taps.
Does the Roostino PWA work on older Android phones running Android 7?
Roostino's mobile site requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later and Chrome 90 or above for the best experience. Android 7 devices may load the site but are not guaranteed full functionality, particularly for Evolution Gaming live dealer streams.
Can I deposit using PayID directly from the Roostino mobile browser?
Yes. The full AUD cashier, including PayID and POLi, is available in the mobile browser and PWA shortcut. Select PayID at the deposit screen, copy the provided PayID string into your banking app, and funds are credited near-instantly.
Which pokies run best on mobile at Roostino?
HTML5 pokies from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and Play'n GO are optimised for touch screens and perform smoothly on mid-range handsets. High-end 3D progressive jackpot pokies may require a newer device for the best frame rates.
